PEI Express Entry

PEI Express Entry is a category of the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) that allows skilled foreign workers to apply for permanent residency in Canada through the federal government’s Express Entry system. Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements for one of the three federal Express Entry programs – the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Federal Skilled Trades Program, or the Canadian Experience Class – and also meet the requirements for the PEI Express Entry category. To be eligible, candidates must have a valid job offer from a PEI employer in a skilled occupation, as well as sufficient education, work experience, language proficiency, and other factors that contribute to their ability to settle and integrate into the province’s labor market and society.

Successful candidates receive a provincial nomination certificate, which guarantees them an additional 600 points towards their Express Entry Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score and significantly increases their chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency in the next Express Entry draw. PEI Express Entry is a competitive and popular pathway to Canadian permanent residency for skilled workers looking to settle in Prince Edward Island.
