International Graduate Stream
The Prince Edward Island (PEI) International Graduate stream is part of the PEI Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) and is designed to attract international graduates who have completed their studies at a recognized post-secondary institution in PEI. This stream is an excellent pathway for international graduates who wish to remain in Canada permanently and have the skills and education needed to contribute to PEI’s economy.
To be eligible for the PEI International Graduate stream, candidates must have completed a full-time program of at least two years at a recognized post-secondary institution in PEI. They must also have a valid post-graduate work permit and a job offer from a PEI employer in their field of study. In addition, candidates must demonstrate language proficiency in either English or French and have sufficient settlement funds to support themselves and their dependents in PEI.
Successful candidates under this stream will receive a provincial nomination from PEI, which will provide them with additional points toward their application for permanent residency in Canada. With the PEI International Graduate stream, international graduates can gain valuable Canadian work experience and lay the foundation for a successful career in PEI, one of Canada’s most beautiful and welcoming provinces.
