Pioneering Business Opportunities: Yukon
The Yukon Business Nominee Program (YBNP) is a stream of the Yukon Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) that is designed to attract and retain entrepreneurs who have the skills, experience, and financial resources to establish or purchase a business in Yukon. The program is aimed at individuals who can contribute to the growth of the territory’s economy by creating jobs, investing in local communities, and promoting innovation. The YBNP offers two categories of nomination: the Entrepreneur Category and the Self-Employed Category. The Entrepreneur Category is for individuals who wish to establish or purchase a business in Yukon, while the Self-Employed Category is for individuals who have experience in the cultural or artistic fields and wish to work for themselves. To be eligible for the YBNP, applicants must meet certain criteria, including having a minimum net worth, demonstrating business experience, and having a viable business plan. Successful applicants will receive a nomination from the Yukon government, which will allow them to apply for permanent residence in Canada.
If your company concept is accepted, applications that match the eligibility standards and have a minimum score of 65 points will be placed in a pool of possible applicants for 6 months. Meeting the qualifying conditions and the minimal score, on the other hand, does not ensure admission to the program.
